Synte Art & Culture has recently joined forces with The House of Busby (Pty) Ltd to create a new project preliminarily called “The Art of Travel”. To sum up the concept, sets of luggage will be painted and/or decorated to create original and one-of-a-kind travel sets for the consumer.

The sets will start selling at the flagship stores and if successful, will be rolled out to another 25 of over 100 stores owned by Busby before the end of the year. With the purchase of these pieces the clients will be given information about the artist and standees with further information will be displayed with each set.

It is my opinion that this will give participating artists good exposure whilst challenging the boundaries of traditional art.
